My Work

Mobility, Security, and Information are the three keywords I think will drive the changes for everyone's daily life in 10 years. Those who can help people see how they could live their life differently will lead the era.

I've been thinking, reading and intrigued by technologies centering around these, enterprise or normal users.

Dealocus

FTP/HTTP/TELNET Proxy
A program I wrote in 1998 mainly to
  • Use as a hack for some sites which only accepts certain IPs
  • Get better network bandwidth. (Once upon a time, the bandwidth between US and TW's academic network was limited. I could actually get a 10x-20x bandwidth by hosting my Proxy on Hinet. FYI, Hinet has discontinued the shell access)
  • I played with socket programming, Linux thread managements and learned about the infamous FTP protocol.
US Graduate School Application Tip ()
My personal experiences in puisuiting graduate study. (writen in Chinese)
